Ludger Beerbaum’s Stallion Station Present their Top Bloodlines.
Ludger Beerbaum will introduce his top bloodlines and their offspring at the opening weekend of the new equestrian centre, Riesenbeck International. "We will be holding a stallion show during the opening weekend" said the successful breeder. The stallions will be shown on Sunday 29th March at 2.00 pm. Tickets go on sale on Sunday 1st March and will be available online through the website www. riesenbeck-international.com. "Due to the enormous interest generated by the opening, we shall celebrate the official opening of Riesenbeck International on the Saturday 28th March", explains Ludger Beerbaum “and, in a separate event, hold a stallion show the following day on Sunday 29th March”.
The magnificent new arena will provide the stage for the presentation of a dozen stallions and their offspring. There will be opportunities for interested breeders to view both dressage and show jumping horses. Some of Ludger Beerbaum’s renowned sport horses will be presented under saddle, others introduced by hand. As well as the internationally successful show jumpers such as Chaman, Cordess, Monte Bellini and Casilius, a new and very exciting top sire will be introduced to the breeders - Lamm de Fetan. Edouard de Rothschild owns this exceptional sixteen year-old Selle Francais stallion (Sire: Fergar Mail, dam of sire: Le Tot de Semilly). Lamm de Fetan won the Nations Cup in Aachen and Lummen 2009, and the Grand Prix in Valencia 2010. In addition, the stars of tomorrow, the young Baloutelli and Hermes de Lux, will be introduced.
Ludger Beerbaum will give a talk, explaining his breeding philosophy; his riders, Henrik von Eckermann, Philipp Weishaupt and Christian Kukuk, will spotlight the most interesting horses at the stallion station. Dressage expert, Hubertus Schmidt will be showing the top dressage stallions such as the double National Champion, Escolar, his sire the NRW winning stallion, Estobar NRW, and the Grand Prix winner, Florenciano. Young dressage prospects; Escorial, Goldberg, Marques and Sonnentanz will be ridden by the dressage rider, Danica Duen.
The programme will be rounded off with a short film, expert testimonials and competition performances. The audience will be presented with a professional, sports-orientated and entertaining show, which will run for just over two hours.
